Tall Tales
As an average Asian, my height has been a problem in the United Kingdom, where I have encountered difficulties
navigating the world around me. I am always a few inches short from the things I am reaching for, which makes
me wonder what others would do when faced with this similar situation. I knew I was not alone, facing this difficulty,
after witnessing a lady using her umbrella to hook some clothes off a high rack in the department store. Deeply
inspired, I started to spend time observing how simple everyday objects are being used to reach for things in an
unorthodox way.
This book showcases a collection of ‘Tall Tales’ that I have gathered from my observations. As Bill Watterson
once said, “Letting your mind play is the best way to solve problems.” It is my greatest hope that these creative
solutions would help and inspire you as well.
Specially for the vertically challenged:)
